Youth
The CCN youth group welcomes all kids in middle and high school! Join us every Sunday at 10 AM for an engaging journey through the Book of Colossians. On the last Sunday of each month we come together for games, worship, a devotion, and a fun meal. It's a great chance to connect with others and have fun with friends. We can't wait to see you there!
If you have any questions or would like more information about getting involved, please contact Kaleb Doughty at 208-941-4913

Our youth ministry is relentless in the preaching and teaching of God's word, as well as facilitating healthy discussion to grow young people in the understanding of the foundations of our faith. We strive to teach our youth that when they are confronted with any knowledge or wisdom from the world to ask themselves this: does this line up with the truth of scripture? Each Sunday morning we teach exegetically, verse by verse through books of the Bible with two questions that always need an answer. What does this text say in light of the redemptive work of the gospel of grace through Jesus Christ? and how does this fit into the foundation of Truth that is built up in the big picture story of scripture as a whole?

In a culture set on the destruction of morality, our children are constantly targeted. Middle schoolers and High schoolers are the most vulnerable to this culture war because their brains are not developed enough to grasp bigger concepts. With every idea being new, it is difficult for them to discern whether these ideas are true and if they are in line with their values. Our society unfortunately, will not make a distinction between a man and a woman, has highjacked the definition of marriage, and has made morality something to define individually, we must arm our youth with biblical truth to push back. This culture uses our young people’s own Christian values against them stating that they are unloving and hateful when they stand against this onslaught of evil ideas and practices. Whether on the internet, at school, in their workplaces, or sports teams, children interact with non-believers, we cannot protect them forever from facing these difficult conversations and situations that is why we believe it is imperative that we equip our youth to defend themselves. In the information age we desire to make Proverbs 18:17 our guide. We are continually examining truth claims from false religions, contemporary cults, and broken world systems in light of the truth of scripture Proverbs 18:17 The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.
